Work Dress

This is a dress that every lady needs in her wardrobe, for housework, garden work, laundry, cooking, or a stroll through the garden in the mornings. Portraying a lady of lesser economical means or refugee also means dressing appropriately. Our work dress is made of quality homespun fabrics or appropriate cotton.  Known as the 'gathered'  the bodice is not flat lined, rather it is separate and meets at the waist for a not-fitted look. Knife pleated skirt, deep pocket, lined hem, hem tape.
Wear with corded petticoat or small diameter hoop.
